Introducing Grant Avenue Elementary!

Opening September 2009, Grant Avenue Elementary is a brand new school, offering families an exciting new choice for students.  This year, we'll begin with Kindergarten and First Grade, adding another grade each year until we reach our full capacity as a K-5 school in 2012.

At Grant Avenue Elementary School, we know that student success is built on the foundation of safety, trust, and strengths.  We promise our students an intellectually stimulating, emotionally supportive, safe environment.  Parents and students can trust that Grant Avenue Elementary students will be prepared for success on standardized tests while being challenged to think creatively and critically.

Our academic curriculum and school activities are planned with the success of each child in mind by emphasizing and growing individual strengths.

Expert reading, writing, and math instruction are provided to our students.  Each day, students work collaboratively and independently.  Students work in small groups with teachers to make sure that they get the attention they need.  We offer targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
